Will a Nobel Prize help Al Gore win a coveted Presidency when nothing else could? It could happen. It would give him the publicity and boost he could use to run for the nomination. The only good thing I can see is that he would really give Hillary Clinton a run for the money.
As it stands now, there is no other Democrat who has a chance against her. But I think Al Gore would under the circumstances of winning a Nobel Prize. Otherwise, he's still all washed up and irrelevant. A Prize would probably do more for him than what it did to keep Carter in the public eye.
And in a sense, Gore's contribution equals more than Carter has ever contributed, even though I don't agree with Gore's evaluation of our environment. I don't know which of the two I prefer because I don't prefer either one. Hillary is a liar, a manipulator and a woman. Three strikes against her. Gore is a team player. I'll say that for him. He'd be better for the Democratic Party than Hillary. She'll ruin the party, except for the far left fringe. But in the meantime, a presidency with her at the helm will devastate our country.
