The USA today paper and teh wall street journal reported it was $6000 per person. I figured 3 years, so it was 2000 per person per year. I divided $2000 by 52 weeks to get the first figure, then multiplied it by 4, the average family size, then mulitplied it by 4.2 to get the monthly average.

Now if you are saying USA today and the wall street journal are wrong, then I am wrong. I just went by the figures they put in print. I consider a nation newspapers such as those two pretty much accurate.

But be it $10 per week per person, a family of 4 would be $40 a week, or $172 or so per month. IF every month, every family had to take $172 for a useless war, and instead of feeding their family with is, or take a vacatation, or saw it was costing them almost $2000 a year, making enough to put a kid through college, they would think twice, complain and the wars would end, and if they were necessary, they would be short and sweet, and we would play to win, not this stablization crap.
