Check your numbers, Shad. It was fewer than 3,000 in both attacks on 9/11.

The invasion of Afghanistan was an appropriate and necessary response to the attack that was launched from there on the US. Iraq had nothing to do with it--NOTHING. Yet they got invaded anyway, making your last post a complete non sequitur.

Speaking of 9/11, why the hell can't Bush concentrate on getting Osama bin Laden and Mullah Omar? His error in Iraq has let them off the hook, even increasing their recruiting opportunities, and invited the Taliban to make a comeback. Bush has in many ways betrayed the victims of 9/11 and their families, and now here you are doing the same thing. You should be ashamed of yourself waving their bloody shirts in defense of the optional invasion and continued occupation of Iraq. There was no connection. To the families of the civilians of Iraq killed in this war, it must seem just as unjustified and evil as 9/11 seemed to us. What did they do to deserve this?
