I think I always felt the way I do now but I always wanted to at least have a symbolic part in the process of making my country a good place to be born and to live a decent life. But over the years politics in particular but other ideologies have taken hold to such an extent that in reality voting doesn't make any difference.
Obama and his most strident followers along with the hangers-on who don't have a functioning brain among the lot of them are committed communists. The remainder of his party are guilty by association whether they realize it or not. The Republican establishment including the Rinos are close behind, so it's 7 of one and 5 of the other and the twain will meet in the end no matter what the voters say.
So why give them my support. It doesn't matter who wins, we'll get whatever is decided for us in the end. One will just take a bit longer to reach the goal line than the other. Ir it were a matter of centuries that might matter but it's only in decades now or even less and I'm beyond the point of caring any longer.
If Hillary wins in 2016 we have surely gotten exactly what we deserve and what a life we're leaving to our descendants. But a Jeb Bush wouldn't be any better, so you see, whatever the powers that be decide is what it will be and voting doesn't make a difference.
As for campaigns, it's ALL about the power and money. Nothing else. What a disgrace to all of humanity to spend that amount of money to win a seat so they can screw the public. Shame on all politicians. Most of them couldn't win a game of Fish without cheating and in the big game of politics it's a course in Cheating 101, as they say what they know people want to hear and once elected they do what they intended all the time and it's rarely to never what they promised.
