VX, like yourself, I chose not to vote. Ever since Obama was re-elected I vowed never to vote again and I feel confident that I'll be able to keep it. I've come to the conclusion that it doesn't matter who is in "power" -- nothing much will ever change. Power continues to corrupt and it doesn't matter what "stripe" you wear.

I just read an article about how the Democratic leadership will be reviewing what they did wrong during this election period to lose. Nothing in it pointed to whether they were governing according to what the public wanted. It was all about what "political" mistakes were made that cost them the elections. So it only confirms my view that for politicians it's all about politics and very little about governing.

Oh well. I guess that's about all I've got to say about that. Maybe I'll say something again in 2016.
