"Where did you get that idea, for historically, you are wrong."

Try reading some actual history for once. The Romans routinely crushed any attempted rebellions. Read how Spartacus's uprising ended. The roads were lined with the crucified corpses of rebellious slaves. So did the Ottomans, the Russians, the Nazis, Iraq under Hussein, Turkey (mainly with the Kurds), and so on.

"An armed populace PREVENT such actions just by being armed."

No they don't. You have this romanticized belief that the people can hold off a dedicated force, by virtue of their arms and love of freedom, or some such nonsense. It doesn't work that way. The few groups made of civilians that have succeeded (such as Tito's partisans, Mao's Communist guerrillas, or the Viet Cong) only did so with outside backing and a willingness not to only to take losses, but be just as brutal, if not more so, than the enemy.

"ou don't think there was a reason hitler did not invade Switserland in WW2, or Yamamoto's statement about invading america either."

Why would Hitler touch the Swiss? They were neutral, and there was no reason to bomb the banks handling their money. Admiral Yamamoto's statement referred to the foolishness of getting into a long war that the Japanese couldn't win, against a heavily industrialized nation with a large population. It had nothing to do with invading the country.

Our people here in america are better armed than most.

It depends on what you mean by "better armed than most". In terms of firepower, it varies from mediocre to low. Granted, there's probably a higher amount of weaponry compared to EU countries, but if you're looking at the firearms owned by civilians, it's not all that impressive. You're looking at a lot of hunting rifles, shotguns, and pistols. Comparatively, an Iraqi tends to have at least two AK-47s, if not heavier ordnance. And it was like that under Hussein as well, which didn't seem to really impede from filling a mass grave. And that's not even getting into the lack of training.

"A civil war is not the way to win. Picking off leaders and their families is the way you win a civil war."

I have no idea what the hell was said here.

"they are proving that every day in Iraq."

Who's proving what?
