Kissinger has one, and Yasser Arafat. I don't think the US electorate will be all that impressed, frankly. He won't win anyway, in my opinion. You don't get these prizes just for giving PowerPoint presentations.

Gore is washed up. He blew it big time in 2000 and we Democrats have not forgotten it. I'm grateful for his early public opposition to the idiotic invasion of Iraq, and for his career as environmental Cassandra. But when he was Clinton's right hand man, he intervened in support of mountaintop removal coal mining. He had no real focus on foreign affairs, including the Islamist threat. He was politics, not policy, despite the hype. He had his chance.

Americans know their Presidents have to lie from time to time, and they all do it regularly. What we can't forgive is picking the wrong stuff to lie about. Presidents also have to be manipulators. Sock puppets like George Bush make crappy Presidents. Being a woman may not be the disadvantage you think in 2008. We'll just have to see.

But I don't think the nominee will be Clinton, Obama, or Gore. My money is on Edwards, Richardson, and Vilsack. Anyone want to give me odds?
