Like Allan, I'm concerned about this. Essentially, both the government and the citizens are borrowing money from China, Japan, the UK, and other nations so they can live better today. But the money will be repaid. This is how the US went from the world's biggest creditor nation to the world's biggest debtor nation in one generation--and we are going deeper into debt every year, big time.

Yes, the economy is humming along. But it is not true that there is "nothing wrong" with it. There will be a reckoning. I wonder how the US will react.
