the current robust economy is largely fueled by foreign investment. That's not anything new. Our economy functions best with foreign investment. I don't understand how you people can extoll the virtues of diversity and then turn around and find fault with an economy based upon foreign investments. It's the ideal situation. As much as they say they hate us, they can't wait to invest in us. Which quickly rules out any logic for that hatred.

As for selling the country to them, how can that be when they are part of the country? Just because at the present time we have more Mexicans than any other foreign nationals and they have nothing to invest, doesn't mean we should turn down the interest of other countries. The same type of behavior is turning China into a more capitalistic system, who will eventually be able to compete with us for all this foreign investment. But I think there is enough to go around and then some.
