Let me address a concern I have on the whole hydrogen thing. I think its good, and I think it'll come in my lifetime. But think about this. The by-product of hydrogen powered fuel is water. If we put that much water vapor into the atmosphere, how is that going to effect global climate patterns? I think we're going to eventually be exchanging one problem for another.

edit: I looked it up after I got the thought, and here's what I came up with. Kinda scary either way we go (ei. staying with fossil fuels or going hydrogen). I'm still kinda nervous about nuclear power. We still have the nuclear waste to deal with. Perhaps we should just start shooting it into the sun. But then, that might have adverse effects on the sun.
