On the other hand, they are American citizens---perfectly entitled to express their beliefs in public and be treated with tolerance and respect by fellow citizens---especially liberals.

And here they are  exercising their freedom of Speech.  It may just be me, but, these Tea Party folks don't seem all that tolerant.

Most are, but just as on the Democrat nut-case left, there are always some obnoxious pin-heads.  Two can play the sign game

Stalag, if you have some insights into the Tea Party that we liberals are missing, please, do share.

What you are missing is clear evidence that American citizens in large numbers are very concerned about the direction of the country---and willing to do something about it in November.

What, besides hating President Obama, do they stand for?  What are they asking for?  Do they, or any Republicans for that matter, have a plan to improve this country?  I would really like to know?

They hate what Obama and his fellow Socialists are doing to the United States---not Obama.  They are asking for leadership that will govern with the consent of the governed.  I can't speak for Republicans or the Tea Party, but clearly we don't need to print any more money, borrow more from China, nationalize any more companies through outright governmental theft of assets, hire Van Jones and the Center for American Progress to write legislation to be ram-rodded through a Democrat controlled Congress, further damage domestic energy production, appease our enemies, put up with with selective justice along racial lines from the Department of Justice---or tolerate a President who seems not to like the United States or Americans.
