Anyway,

There are three scenarios.

1> It won't be decided until the end of August
2> It won't be decided until June 14 when Puerto Rico hold its Democratic primary
3> It will be decided on April 22, before June 14 (or perhaps before April 22).


Which of those three will be the case is hard to predict with any confidence at this point in time.

Certainly, it is fair to say that we won't know anything prior to March 4th.

As disturbing as all this is it is nonetheless good in the sense that many people are taking part in the process and not just the people who live in Iowa and New Hampshire (either one of those two states could be decisive on November 4th).
